For well over 30 years residents at the suggestion from the young gentleman on the right in the back ground from the Camphill Communities have supplied a work force to Tools For Self Reliance (Milton Keynes). The main purpose of the workshop was to refurbish old unwanted tools back to as new as possible. They are then sent to our sister charity in Southampton, Tools For Self Reliance, for onward distribution to the African continent enabling individuals to set up in business in various trades.

The residents on average refurbish our 1,000 tools per year and have provided in excess of over 30,000 tools for Southampton to distribute to Ghana, Malawi, Sierra Leone, Uganda and Zambia.
